Bhubaneswar: The senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh in a press meet here on Monday slammed the Centre and state government for rampant corruption, back money, faulty economic policy causing price rise and hike in oil price per se.

Singh who is currently on his two-day Odisha tour said that in the absence of national price mechanism in the country, there has been an unprecedented price rise in goods and commodities and hike in the prices of petrol and diesel unlike the neighbouring countries.

Taking potshots at the Centre, Singh said that the Centre has been ignoring the grave issues like corruption and black money that the country is facing. The social activist like Anna Hazare and Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev recently observing fast holds testimony to this.

The senior BJP leader has demanded a special Parliamentary session on this issue before the monsoon session begins.
