Odisha Teacher Faces Public Wrath For Misbehaving With Girl Student
Baripada: An assistant teacher today faced the wrath of some locals for allegedly misbehaving with a girl student at Bada Brahmanmara School in Mayurbhanj district.
As per reports, the concerned teacher had allegedly misbehaved with a class VI student inside the school premises. The matter came to light after the girl somehow managed to escape and later informed the hostel warden. Irate over the incident, locals reportedly locked up the assistant teacher and ransacked his car today.
As per the allegations, the teacher tried to misbehave with the girl student by touching her inappropriately.
“As per instructions of higher officials, we have informed police for necessary action,” informed Hemanta Dutta, Head Master of Bada Brahmanmara Govt UP School.
“It is a matter of shame for the area. Stringent action should be taken against the teacher,” said Bidio Bhakta, Sarpanch, Bankisole gram panchayat .
Following the tension at the school, Additional SP, SDPO, BDO and a team of Fire Services personnel reached the spot and held discussions with the agitators. Besides, one platoon police force has been deployed to maintain law and order.
