IPS Reshuffle: Sudhanshu Sarangi new Twin City Police Commissioner

Bhubaneswar:  Sudhanshu  Sarangi was appointed the new Twin City Police Commissioner after Odisha government effected a major reshuffle in the State police.

Sarangi, the current director of State Crime Records Bureau, will assume charge from the incumbent Satyajit Mohanty who was appointed as Commissioner of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar last year. Mohanty has been transferred and posted as additional DG of Prisons and Director of Correctional Service.

DIG Amitendra Nath Singh has been appointed DIG of Crime Branch; while Central Range IG Saumendra Priyadarshi has been posted as IG Personnel. PS Ranpise has been appointed IG of Vigilance department.

RP Koche, who is currently posted as Additional DG of Police (Operations), has been appointed as ADG Law and Order; while IG SAP Amitabh Thakur has been appointed IG of Police Operations. Rekha Lokani has been named IG Police Modernisation with additional charge of IGP Provisioning. Ashish Singh will be the new DIG Police (Central Range).
