Odisha government effected a minor reshuffle in the IPS, OPS cadres. Similarly, several officers in the rank of additional superintendent of police on Tuesday were promoted to the rank of superintendent of police (super time scale) in Odisha.

IPS Officer Niti Sekhar has been appointed as the Additional Commissioner of the Cuttack-Bhubaneswar Police Commissionerate.

The Odisha government on Wednesday effected a reshuffle in the IPS cadre and promoted OPS, transferring Nitesh Wadhwani as the new SP of Malkangiri police district.

Sudhanshu Sarangi, a 1990 batch IPS officer, will replace Pranabindu Acharya who has been transferred and posted as ADGP, OHRC. 

Of the 32 transfers, seven are of the Joint Commissioner of Police rank, five of Deputy Commissioner of Police rank, 13 of Additional Commissioner Police rank, and 3 Assistant Commissioned of Police.
