Cuttack: Results of matriculation supplementary examinations-2013 conducted by State Board of Secondary Education (BSE) in June will be announced on Friday, said School and Mass Education Minister Rabi Narayan Nanda today. The results booklet will be available at the BSE head office at Cuttack while the same can be accessed on internet from 10 am onwards, he added.
The mass education department expected to publish the results early by mid-July to help students to go for higher education without losing an academic year. The department had made every possible effort to finish the evaluation work on scheduled time.
Students who failed to clear the annual Matriculation examinations held in March this year were given a supplementary chance to clear the same in the same year so as to not to lose an academic year.
This year, nearly 60,000 students wrote the Supplementary examinations. Sources said that nearly 2000 students were booked for malpractice as they were found using unfair means during the examination.
