Kendrapara: An assistant engineer of Mahakalpada block in Kendrapara district was electrocuted at his under-construction house here on Sunday, police said.

Nilakantha Behera (42) accidentally came in contact with a motor pump charged with high voltage current due to electrical short circuit, police said.

Behera died on the spot, they said adding the body was sent for post mortem and a case of unnatural death registered in this connection.
