Bhubaneswar: In an unfortunate incident, Maoists shot dead one youth in Sishaput village under Khairaput block of Malkangiri district late last night.

Maoists killed Bhima Sisha suspecting him to be a police informer. The incident occurred a day before top leader Sabyasachi Panda’s call for a state-wide bandh on Tuesday in protest against November 14 Bhaliaguda encounter.

On the other hand, Bansadhara-Ghumsur division of CPI(Maoist) called a bandh in Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal & Rayagada districts today to protest against the same encounter.
