Keonjhar: A driver and a helper had a hair breadth escape when an express train collided with a dumping truck at an unmanned level crossing in Keonjhar on Sunday.

Puri-Bansapani Express crashed into a sponge iron loaded dumping truck that was heading towards Parjangpur today. The train dragged the truck for near about 300 feet.

But, the driver and helper came out of the truck unhurt.

Due to the incident, the train had developed a technical snag following which it was stalled for about five hours.

Later, the train resumed its journey after the hitch was cleared by the help of technical support.
