Bhubaneswar: At least three persons were killed and 15 others injured when a bus collided head-on with a truck on Sarala road near Tirtol in Jagatsinghpur on Monday.

The bus carrying 50 passengers was heading towards Paradip from Cuttack, when it collided head-on with the truck at 7:45 am today.

The injured have been taken to Cuttack SCB medical college and hospital.

The irate locals had blocked the road for few hours; later the police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
