Train carrying coal derails near Athagarh

Athagarh: Three wagons including the guard cabin of a goods train derailed near Sauria level-crossinig near Gurudijhatia station early this morning. As a result, the rail traffic on the route is disrupted.

According to sources, the train was carrying coal and was on its way to Paradeep from Talcher. However, no loss of life or injury to anyone has been reported due to the accident.

Meanwhile, railway officials rushed to the spot and started investigations to find out the reason of the derailment.
