Negligence alleged in Odia boy's death in Hyderabad hospital

Bhubaneswar/Hyderabad: Tension ran high on the premises of Osmania Hospital in Hyderabad after a nine-year old Odia boy died due to alleged medical negligence at a government-run hospital after undergoing a surgery there.

The deceased has been identified as Hardik Jena.

According to sources, Hardik faced a minor accident in his school and sustained some minor injury on his left hand.

He was rushed to the hospital where he died following a surgery.

His family alleged that Hardik died due to excess administration of anaesthesia by the doctors.

Meanwhile, parents of Hardik are trying to bring back his body to Bhubaneswar.
