Lawyers thrash constable in Cuttack, DCP assures action

Cuttack: Above one hundred constables gheraoed the office of deputy commissioner of police (DCP) here today demanding action against lawyers who allegedly thrashed one of his colleagues near Sati Choura square.

They demanded that the lawyers should be booked for manhandling a traffic constable who was also on duty.

A complaint has also been lodged at the Markatnagar police station in this regard.

However sources said the DCP has assured action against the erring lawyers.
