Cash, jewellery robbed from bank official’s house

Bolangir: Jewllery and cash were allegedly looted from the residence of Utkal Gramya Bank manager Sarat Chandra Hota here.

Hota and his wife Sabita, who are staying in the Utkal Nagar, had gone to the bank at 10.30 am today. After returning home, the couple found that Rs 30,000 cash and 300 gm gold were missing from the almirah.

Regarding this, the bank official has registered a police complaint.

As per the case diary, Hota said miscreants had entered his house after breaking the window grill and looted the valuables.

Police sources said an investigation into the case is going on.
