Maoists kill another person in Malkangiri within 24 hrs

Malkangiri: In second such incident within a day in Malkangiri, another person was found dead with his throat slit. The victim has been identified as Sahadev Badnayak, the brother of former Sarpanch of Kudumulgumma Raba village.

Maoist hand is being suspected behind the incident.

According to sources, around 30-40 men abducted him yesterday night and his body was recovered today morning.

Sahadev had received death threats from Maoists earlier, informed sources.

In a similar incident yesterday night, Badapadar Sarpanch’s throat was slit by ten armed Maoists after they barged into his house.
