Salman’s Transformation on Return

Once the shoot wrapped, Salman Khan returned to Mumbai. Videos and pictures of him at the Mumbai airport quickly surfaced on social media. Dressed in a black T-shirt, jacket, trousers and a cap, the actor was spotted without his moustache, which he had sported during the shoot. After exiting the airport, Salman headed straight to his car.

About Battle of Galwan

Earlier this month, Salman had shared a striking photo on Instagram dressed in military uniform with a moustache. Mounted on a grand scale, the film sees him as an army officer and revisits the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops - a rare border confrontation that turned deadly despite the absence of firearms, with soldiers engaging in hand-to-hand combat using sticks and stones.

A Courtesy Visit in Ladakh

During the schedule, Salman also paid a courtesy visit to the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, at Raj Niwas in Leh. Wearing a blue shirt and denim jeans, the actor had a pleasant interaction with the LG. As part of the meeting, Salman received a traditional Thangka Canvas painting depicting Buddha’s life. Both posed with the painting, smiling for the cameras.

The Office of the Lt. Governor of Ladakh later shared the news of Salman’s visit on their official X handle, writing, "Bollywood icon Salman Khan paid a courtesy visit to the Hon'ble Lt. Governor Shri @KavinderGupta at the Raj Niwas, #Leh." (sic)
