Bhubaneswar: Leading medical facility chain AMRI Hospitals Limited on Tuesday announced the launch of its upcoming 400-bedded super speciality tertiary care hospital here with an investment of about Rs 310 crore.

"The state-of-the-art super speciality hospital, slated to open soon, will provide affordable tertiary clinical care and superior healthcare facilities to people of Odisha and nearby states," AMRI Hospitals CEO Crish Ramesh told reporters here.

The hospital, strategically located on a sprawling five-acre land on Khandagiri bypass, is conceptualised by a Singapore-based architect and a Mumbai-based firm has designed and executed the project, he said.

Stating that AMRI Hospitals has already roped in eminent names from the medical fraternity of Bhubaneswar as well as other metro cities of the country and abroad, Ramesh said the facility will meet world-class industry standards, ensuring compliance of institutional policies and procedures.

"Quality clinical care and patient safety are our top priority," the CEO said, adding the hospital would offer services starting from routine conventional diagnostic services to more focused and advanced diagnostic innovations in cardiac sciences, neuro sciences, renal sciences, orthopaedics, minimal access surgeries and gastroenterology.

It will have an ultra-modern fully equipped blood bank with facilities for component therapy. Some of the high end diagnostic services will include high capability MRI, advanced CT, digital mammography, 4D echo, state-of-the-art cath labs, EEG, EMG and Cerebral Angio, he said.

"Our focus will be on affordable and technologically advanced healthcare to deliver clinical excellence and outstanding patient satisfaction. The upcoming hospital will propel direct and indirect employment opportunities in the region," said Salil Kumar Mohanty, vice-president of AMRI Hospital, Bhubaneswar.
