Rayagada: A team of Forest officials of Muniguda forest range seized an 8-feet long leopard skin near Nundruguda village of Chandrapur block in Rayagada district during a raid on Monday .

Acting on tip-off, a four-member team of Muniguda forest range led by Ranger Manoranjan Swain, raided the village.

During the raid, the team found the tiger skin put inside a sack from inside a cave of a hill near the village.

The Forest suspect that the poachers, after killing the leopard, were trying to sell its skin.

Investigation is on.
