Odisha: 60-Year Old Man Critical After Septuagenarian Opens Fire At Him

Jagatsinghpur: A man in his sixties sustained bullet injuries on his head after a septuagenarian allegedly opened fire at him over suspected previous enmity at Palasola village under Jagatsinghpur police limits here on Tuesday.

According to sources, the injured has been shifted to a hospital in Cuttack.

"Today at around 10 am, we received information that a man sustained bullet injuries on his head and was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Jagatsingpur. Later, the man was shifted to a hospital in Cuttack," informed Rajanikant Mishra, IIC of Jagatsinghpur Sadar police station.

Meanwhile, police have detained the accused and seized the gun from his possession.

Further investigation into the matter is on.
