Bhubaneswar: Biju Janta Dal (BJD) will win 13 of 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha, predicted NDTV exit poll on Wednesday evening.

The survey added BJP will bag five seats in the state, pointing towards better performance of the saffron party in the polls as it had scored zero in 2009 election.

Congress was expected to win three seats, the exit poll said.

The post-poll survey also said BJD’s vote share will be at 38%, BJP at 28% and Congress at 24%.

Meanwhile, NDA is projected to get 279 seats in LS elections, crossing the required majority mark in the 543-member House while BJP alone could clock its highest-ever tally of 235 seats, the survey added.
