Puri: Despite ban on the entry of mobile phones and other electronic gadgets inside Jagannath temple in Puri, a picture of Ananda Bazaar going viral on social media has once again exposed lapses in the security arrangements at the 12th century shrine.

According to sources, a youth identified as Pintu Mohapatra had clicked the pictures of Ananda Bazaar of Srimandir during sale of Mahaprasad and subsequently uploaded it on his Facebook account. The pictures which were posted on August 19 have now gone viral on various social media platforms.

Shockingly, this is the third such instance reported in a span of less than two months. Earlier, a girl from Nirakarpur area was detained for shooting TikTok video inside Srimandir and subsequently posting it on Facebook. However, she was later released after she submitted an undertaking in this regard.

Similarly, a selfie of Ollywood actress Divya clicked inside Srimandir had also gone viral on social media in October.
