Bolangir: Elderly Couple Found Dead Inside Govt Quarters

Bolangir: An elderly couple was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a government quarters at Chandrashekhar Nagar in Bolangir town here on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Brundaban Sahu and Niras Sahu of Kudasingha village under Bolangir Sadar block.

According to sources, the elderly man was found lying dead on the floor while the woman’s body was tied to a window of the house.

"The old man had been ill for quite a long time and the woman was taking care of him. However, we are clueless about the cause of their death," a neighbour stated.

Bolangir Police have reportedly sent the bodies for post-mortem and started an investigation into the incident.
