Swine Flu death toll in Odisha climbs to 26

Bhubaneswar: The death toll in Swine Flu has climbed to 26 in Odisha with two more deaths today.  Moreover, the total number of positive cases has gone up to 290, a statement of the Health department said on Saturday.

According to sources, out of the 29 swabs, nine tested positive for H1N1 virus today. A total 839 samples have been examined out of which 290 have tested positive for the virus so far, the statement added.

The Health and Family Welfare Department had already issued guidelines for private and government hospitals for treatment of patients suffering from the H1N1 virus.
