Surendranath Pasupalaka new OUAT VC

Bhubaneswar: Surendranath Pasupalaka was on Monday appointed new Vice Chancellor of Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT). A notification regarding this was issued after Governor SC Jamir approved the appointment.

In the forenoon, three professors including Pasupalaka were interviewed at the Raj Bhavan here.

In his reaction, Pasupalaka said, “My priority is to make OUAT an internationally renowned university. Besides, the focus will be on education, research and expansion.”

Currently, Pasupalaka is working as head of the Agro-meteorology department at the OUAT. He will replace Manoranjan Kar as the VC of the OUAT.
