Puri: Internationally acclaimed sand artist Manas Sahoo has built a huge sand sculpture of Goddess Saraswati on the Puri sea beach on occasion of Basant Panchami.

Sahoo has used nearly 15 tonnes of sand to build the 15 feet wide sand sculpture of the Goddess. Tourists are crowding the beach to get a glimpse of the sculpture.

May Goddess Saraswati bless all Indians with learning, wisdom, knowledge and creativity, prayed Sahoo on this occasion.

Meanwhile, noted sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has also prayed the Goddess for a peaceful, prosperous and harmonious society.
