Titilagarh: A day after coming down heavily on Centre at the poll rallies in Ganjam district, BJD supremo and CM Naveen Patnaik today sought votes in favour of BJD addressing a rally in Titilagarh.

“Those who have always been neglecting the interest of Odisha, they should be ignored”, Naveen told a rally apparently referring Congress-led UPA government.

“BJD’s poll plank would only be the development of this region and the KBK which is a dream of legendary Biju Patnaik”, he said, adding some leaders coming from outside love to shed crocodile tears during elections. “Where were they during the difficulties of the State”, Patnaik asked.

The ruling party president, while begging support for party nominees Geeta Sahu (MLA candidate) and Kalikesh Singhdeo (MP candidate), said “Congress has lost its existence in the entire country while BJP which dreams to form government at Centre could not materialize its vision”. “If you wish, Odisha could play a major role in forming government at Centre” Naveen added.

After holding rally here he proceeded directly to Dharmagarh of Kalahandi district to address a rally. Later, he is scheduled to speak to a gathering at Lanjigarh.
