DEMU train hits bus in Baripada

Baripada: A passenger train hit a bus near Bangala chhak under Betonati police limits here late on Thursday night. However, no casualty has been reported in the incident.

As per reports, the driver of the bus lost control over the vehicle and skidded off the road on to the railway tracks. The bus was then hit by the Balasore-Baripada DEMU.

No passengers were there in the bus when the mishap happened. The driver of the bus managed to jump and is absconding.
