Sundergarh: Ahead of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik's visit to Sundergarh tomorrow, slogans of protest were found scribbled on walls in Rajgangpur area on Saturday.
The red coloured graffiti read 'Go Back Naveen' and similar slogans against the CM making the district police jittery a day before his visit for launching various projects.
Which group has resorted to the slogans and with what motive is not yet clear, said police. Neither BJP nor Congress activists have claimed responsibility for the act.
Meanwhile, the district police has made elaborate security arrangements for the CM's visit with deployment of more than 15 platoons of police, six DSP rank officers and 10 inspectors.
Besides, frisking of vehicles and check points have been set up to tighten the security.
Sundergarh SP Pinaki Mishra stated, "Inquiry has been launched to trace the trouble mongers and preventive detention will be undertaken to prevent any untoward incident."
