COVID-19: Over 2.2 Million Vaccine Doses Administered In Bhubaneswar

More than 2.2 million vaccine doses have been administered in Bhubaneswar. The record-breaking status of the vaccination in the Odisha Capital city was shared by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Sunday.

As per a Tweet by the BMC, as many as 2201761 Covid jabs have been administered in Bhubaneswar till September 5, 9 pm. While 1227542 people have been inoculated with the first dose of vaccines, 974219 have been completely vaccinated.

At least 36090 healthcare workers have been vaccinated with the first dose and 32614 health professionals administered double doses of the vaccines. Similarly, 56325 and 49421 frontline workers have received single and two doses of vaccines respectively, the BMC stated.
