Video of whale giving birth will leave you amazed – Watch

Have you ever seen a whale giving birth? A few lucky group of whale watchers got this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in Dana Point, California.

The video of the rare sighting was shared on YouTube by Capt Dave’s Dana Point Dolphin & Whale Watching Safari.

In the video, you can see their boat slowly approaching an animal that seems like a whale. However, as the boat gets nearer, a baby whale emerges and swims around happily. We can see the whale get so close to the boat while the captain of the boat can be heard shouting , “..and a brand new baby whale. The mother whale gives birth. I hope you guys are enjoying it. This is a first for all of us. I have never seen anything like this before.”

The mother whale brings the calf over to the boat as if to show off her offspring and say hello.

The tourists were in awe after the whole scene unfolded in front of their eyes. They couldn’t help but record the whole incident on their mobile phones. Women tourists can be heard saying, Oh My God!, he is so cute and Oh my goodness as they adore the baby whale.

Soon after, the mother and baby whale slowly swim away from the boat and disappear from the sight of the tourists.

The video has amassed over 10L views with several comments.

“That must have been amazing to see in person! Wow!” commented a user while another wrote, “Congratulations to the new mama, another miracle from God, the gray whales are multiplying.”

Gray whales are slowly decreasing in numbers and so the birth of the new whale added to the happiness of whale and animal lovers.
