Russian dancers recently sparked chaotic scenes with their dance in UP's Jhansi. The live dance performance also featured impressive synchronisation among the female dancers.

A video of their dance has now gone viral on social media. The video is reportedly from a 'Sweet Night' event organised by Mauranipur Nagar Palika as part of the annual Mela Jal Vihar Mahotsav in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.

Reportedly, the event turned chaotic as the crowd went uncontrollable during the performance by the Russian dancers.

In the video from the Mela Jal Vihar Mahotsav, the Russian dancers performed to songs like 'O Saki Saki' and other Bollywood mashup songs tunes while wearing captivating outfits.

According to a report by Free Press Journal, a large crowd had gathered to watch these dance performances. However, things took an unexpected turn when some young men began dancing near the stage. This led to unruly behaviour among the crowd.

To restore order, police resorted to lathi-charge. It was reported that the event was organised without prior police permission.

Following the incident, one of the injured youths was taken to the local community health center for treatment.

The video was widely shared on social media platforms, and netizens left various comments.

One user wrote, "After this incident, I lost my trust in humanity. This is really shameful for us, and I would like to congratulate the police for making space for their own people, that too in front of the stage."

A second user wrote, "What's all this for a Russian dancer? 😳 🤦♀️" A third user said, "Ab ye bechare agar thoda Russian dance ka maja le le toh UP police ko kya dikkat hai bhai?"
