Munger: The Special Task Forc (STF) today arrested two persons with fake Indian currency notes with a face value of Rs 1.20 lakh from Jamalpur railway station in Bihar's Munger district, police said.

Acting on a tip off, the STF team intercepted two persons, identified as Md Hasan and Md Hannan, as soon as they came out of a train at Jamalpur police station and seized the haul in denomination of Rs 1000 and Rs 500, Jamalpur police station's Station House Officer (SHO) Rajesh Saran said.

The duo, natives of West Bengal's Malda district, had brought the fake currency notes to deliver to a client in the district. During interrogation, the accused said they were associated with some Naxalite outfits to earn hefty commission, Saran said.
