You can take an Indian out of India, but you can’t take India out of an Indian. We are proud of our motherland and miss our homeland no matter wherever we go.

Those living abroad also closely carry their Indian identity very proudly and this was exemplified by a student in New York recently.
The student proudly wore the Indian flag along with his robe at his graduation ceremony in New York.

Sharing pictures of his son’s graduation ceremony at New York University, the youth’s father wrote, “My son flaunting the National Flag with Pride during his Graduation Ceremony.”

In the picture, the youth can be seen in his graduation gown and cap along with the Indian National Flag. He is all smiles as he poses for the pictures. The pictures have sent a sense of patriotism among Twitterati who are taking to the comment section to praise the youth.

Since being shared online, the post has garnered over 139K views with 1554 likes and several comments from Indians living both in India and abroad.

“Congratulations on your graduation brother, best wishes for your future,” commented a user.

Another user commented, “Wishing the young lad a bright and happy future, Jai Hind.”

A third user wrote, “Great pride you have passed on to next generation.”

“And some people proudly wave their state flag and forget the national flag when studying outside the country, Congratulations to the young one,” commented another user.
