An ITI student’s tale of struggle to extend a helping hand to his father is inspiring the internet. Instead of depending on his parents for money and spending time with friends, the student has taken up the responsibility of his parents on his shoulder.

At a time when teenagers often do not understand the struggle of their parents and make unwanted demands of high branded bikes, mobile phones, and clothes, the student identified as Sourav Bhardwaj emerged as an inspiration for many. He has been working as a food delivery agent with Swiggy to help his family financially.

His story was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter by a user, Hatinder Singh, and has been gaining a lot of traction online. In the viral video, Sourav opens up about his struggle and reveals how he manages both his studies and work.

The young boy reveals that he attends class during the day and goes to work from 4 PM to 11 PM. As he does not have a bike, he covers approximately 40 kilometers on his bicycle every day for delivering orders.

Speaking about the reason for taking up the job, Sourav revealed that his father is a photographer but his nature of earning is seasonal and hence is not sufficient for the family. Moreover, his mother also works as a teacher at a private school but doesn’t get paid much.

Sourav revealed that he supports his family by buying groceries from his earnings. He aims to become an IAS officer, but he is also currently preparing for other government exams.
