Can you solve this tricky math brain teaser in 7 seconds?

Harsh Goenka, the chairman of RPG Group, shared a brain teaser on Twitter that's making people scratch their heads. The brain teaser prompts individuals to identify 'what is missing' among the sequence of 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

He challenged puzzle lovers to figure out the missing number in a sequence. The twist is, it's not the number 6.

Harsh Goenka posted a picture with five numbers and an empty space, asking for the missing number.

Take a look at the brain teaser challenge posted by Harsh Goenka below:

The brain teaser, posted on August 19, has garnered more than 280,000 views so far, and the count is still rising. People have flooded the comments section with their guesses and interpretations.

Some Twitter users suggested that the answer could be the reverse of the sequence.

Another offered various possibilities and wrote, “Possibly 5, or 9, or 2 depending on sequence. It’s either 3+2 & 4+1 or 3*1+2 & 4*2+1 or 3*2-1 & 4*1-2 respectively. More sequences are possible & each will present some number.”

Some chose humour, with one person jokingly saying they've switched to automatic mode.

And of course, there were those who simply wrote "R" in the comments.
