In the ever-advancing landscape of technology, the year 2024 has brought about a surge in the prevalence of spam calls, causing inconvenience to many users.

However, managing and blocking these annoying calls can be a straightforward process by implementing a few steps on your device.

Airtel

For Airtel users, the solution lies in the Airtel Thanks app, accessible through the official app store.

Upon installation, logging in with your number and OTP is the initial steps.

Once inside, navigate to the top-left menu and select the 'DND' option.

Subsequently, click on 'Manage' to explore various features enabling you to block spam calls.

The key is to choose preferences judiciously, adding categories to your blocklist, and saving your selections.

MyJio

MyJio users can address the issue by downloading the MyJio app from the official store.

Once installed, locate the Menu option on the home page, clicking on it to reveal 'Settings.' Within 'Settings,' open the 'Do Not Disturb' option and tailor your preferences accordingly to effectively block spam calls.

BSNL

For BSNL users, activating the Do Not Disturb (DND) mode is as simple as sending the message "start 0" to 1909 from your BSNL number.

This initiates the DND service, minimising the intrusion of spam calls.

Vi

Vi (Vodafone Idea) users have multiple avenues to combat spam calls.

Downloading the Vi app or visiting the official website at https://www.myvi.in/dnd provides access to essential features.

By entering your 10-digit Vi number and completing the OTP verification process, you gain the ability to select options that activate Full DND, Partial DND, or block promotions.

For those averse to app downloads, a general method is available for all users.

Simply dial 1909 from your registered 10-digit number and follow the provided instructions to efficiently block spam calls.

By taking these measures, users can look forward to a future free from the annoyance of spam calls.
