Google is planning to make significant modifications to its search engine in response to the evolving ways in which people access information on the internet.

The intention is to make the search engine more engaging, personalised, and relatable, with a particular emphasis on catering to the needs of young people across the globe.

As per a report published by The Wall Street Journal, Google intends to integrate AI-driven conversational interfaces, short-form videos, and social media posts into search results.

Google Integrating

Google is looking to adapt its search engine to reflect the substantial changes in the way people access information on the internet.
One of the shifts is the increasing popularity of AI bots, such as ChatGPT.

To meet these changing needs, Google plans to incorporate conversations with artificial intelligence, as well as more short-form videos and social media posts, into its search results to enhance the overall user experience.

According to The Wall Street Journal, as Google's annual I/O developer conference draws near, the tech giant is anticipated to unveil fresh features that enable users to engage in conversations with an AI program. Dubbed as "Magi," the project is said to be in the works, and its launch is highly anticipated.

Internal reference documents indicate that Google intends to prioritise addressing inquiries that can't be readily answered through conventional web results.

Consequently, Google search users may encounter prompts more frequently to ask follow-up questions or explore visual content like TikTok and Instagram Reels videos in response to their queries.
