(image) Bhubaneswar: Suspected Maoists on Friday night ransacked and looted the house of a villager at Asurabandha in Ganjam.

Around 40-50 armed suspected Maoists including men and women looted the house of Badri Chaudhary. The suspected ultras took the family of Chaudhary outside their house on gun point and allegedly ransacked and looted the house. It is also reported that they looted the adjacent shops.

According to reports, Chaudhary was not at present in his residence when the incident took place.

Earlier, many posters were found on the walls of the shops and buildings in the area with anti-government slogans.
