Youth kills friend after drunken brawl over Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma

An argument over cricket turned ugly after a 21-year-old youth, who is an avid fan of ace Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, allegedly murdered his friend who was a fan of Rohit Sharma in an inebriated condition.

The incident has been reported from Ariyalur district in Tamil Nadu. The deceased has been identified as P Vignesh who was 24-year-old.

The accused has been identified as Dharamraj. He has been taken into custody by the local police after the incident.

As per media reports, the two were having a discussion on cricket in an open area near SIDCO Industrial Estate, near Mallur. During the debate, Vignesh reportedly mocked Virat Kohli which infuriated Dharmaraj. Soon the two got into an ugly fight. In a fit of rage, Dharamraj allegedly killed Vignesh by stabbing him.

The local police said that Vignesh's body was found by locals who work in SIDCO factory.

The police have sent the body for autopsy to a local hospital, while a case has been registered against the accused.
