Ahead of the fifth and final Test against England at Edgbaston, visiting Indian side has a setback as skipper Rohit Sharma tested positive for Covid-19.

While all the focus was on Rohit’s health before the all-important Test match, the cricketer’s little daughter Samaira gave a health update about her father.

When Samaira was asked by reporters in the UK about what Rohit is doing, the innocent kid revealed that her father was sleeping in the room. The video is being adored by countless fans and has gone viral on various social media platforms.

Notably, Rohit was part of the side in the recently concluded warm-up game against Leicestershire. However, he did not take part on the last day of the game as he was diagnosed with Covid-19 and was asked to stay in isolation. Most likely, a call on who would lead India in the upcoming Test might be taken today.

Rohit’s exclusion from the all-important Test will be a massive setback for the visiting side as he is not only the captain of the side rather a top-order batsman. As per reports, if Rohit does not play, either Jasprit Bumrah or Rishabh Pant will lead the side.
