Run machine Virat Kohli, who is synonymous with breaking records, achieved another massive milestone during the 2nd Test between India and Australia at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, on Sunday.

King Kohli broke the world record of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and rewrote history by completing 25,000 international runs. Moreover, it was on this day i.e. February 19 in 2011, Virat Kohli made his ODI World Cup debut with a century vs Bangladesh in Dhaka.

The world record was earlier set by Sachin and King Kohli has rightfully shattered the record and achieved the incredible feat in just 549 innings. Sachin had achieved the same feat in 577 innings followed by Ricky Ponting in 588 innings, legendary all-rounder Jacques Kallis in 594 innings.

The official Twitter page of ICC congratulated the dashing batsman and wrote, “Yet another milestone to virat Kohli’s name. 25000 International Runs.” The Twitter post has since then going viral with 336K views, 26.7K likes and 2849 retweets.

The number of likes and views are only increasing each passing second as fans as terming him the GOAT of cricket in the comment section.
