There are happy marriages and then there are benchmark marriages, like that of India’s run machine Virat Kohli and his wife-actress Anushka Sharma. After six years of marriage with a lovely daughter, Virat and Anushka have been giving serious couple goals and always have each other’s back.

The remarkable relationship of the couple who tied the knot in 2017 in a destination wedding in Italy has evolved and strengthened over the years, setting an example of enduring love and mutual support.

As the couple celebrates their 6th wedding anniversary today, let us take a look at how they are giving serious couple goals to all lovers around the globe.

1.    Trolling on social media: Every time, Virat Kohli did not perform well or lost a match, a section of trolls always blamed Anushka Sharma for his poor form. However, despite repeated trolling, Anushka made sure to go to watch all the matches and cheer for Virat. On the other hand, Virat Kohli warned his fans from dragging Anushka into his game.

2.    Social media PDA: The young couple has never shied away from showing their love for each other on social media. They often post pictures of each other and reveal how lucky they are to have each other in their lives.

3.    Changed Human Being: Virat Kohli has on record stated that he has changed a lot as a human being after being married to Anushka. He has become serious towards his game, has become more devotional, and more focused in his diet and exercise.

4.    Visiting Temples: Kohli who was not into prayers and visiting temples, is now frequenting holy sites and seeking blessings with his wife after his marriage. Incidentally, his form is back and he has been terrific on the field after all the prayers and visits to religious sites.

5.    Cheerleaders for each other: The duo has always stood by each other everytime during their low phase. Anushka stayed through thick and thins of Virat when he was in his poorest form and did not perform well in the games. Similarly, Virat makes sure Anushka is always out of danger during fan mobs at airport and other public places.
