Team India batter Shreyas Iyer trolled for singing Kailash Kher’s iconic song

Team India batter Shreyas Iyer is currently recovering from an injury. He has not been picked in the Indian team for the upcoming West Indies tour.

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) player was recently found trying to sing an icon song of eminent singer Kailash Kher-‘Saiyaan’. The aggressive right-hander was seen in the company of his friends inside a hotel room wearing a Brazil jersey. 

IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) posted the clip on their social media with the caption- “We’re sorry, Kailash Kher.”

The video has reportedly gone viral within no time. It has so far garnered 13k views and 506 likes. However, several fans also trolled Shreyas.

“Kitna bhi effort laga lo fanbase nahi badhne wala,” tweeted another fan.

Responding to the singing by Shreyas, a third user commented, “Kya hai yeh, kuch bhi tweet karoge kya ab.”

Notably, Shreyas’ return to international cricket may take longer than expected as reports suggest that the India batter might not be fit in time for the Asia Cup 2023, putting his ODI World Cup dreams in jeopardy.
