The BCCI on Tuesday announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup that will commence in West Indies and USA in June, later this year. While fans are super elated and are eagerly waiting for the T20 World Cup to start soon, the names in the list of the Indian squad for the tournament have left many disappointed.

The names of several great IPL players including Rinku Singh, Ashutosh Sharma and Shashank Singh, who are consistent players, are missing in the final list.

While fans are happy that players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jadeja and Bumrah have found their place, the inclusion of Hardik Pandya hasn’t gone too well with fans.

On the other hand, Rinku Singh, the explosive batsman and the best finisher currently has been picked as a reserve player along with Shubman Gill, Avesh Khan and Khaleel Ahmed.

Despite being the best finisher of the present generation and power hitter, Rinku’s exclusion has left fans angry who brutally trolled the cricket board.

“Absolutely speechless, angry, and saddened by Rinku Singh's exclusion. His performance spoke volumes, securing his spot even before the IPL commenced. It's disheartening to witness favoritism and politics overshadowing talent in Indian cricket. #KKR #RinkuSingh,” a fan commented.

Another fan shared, “Speechless! Angry! Sad! How on earth you can drop Rinku Singh? He sealed his place even before the IPL began. When are we going to get rid of favouritism and politics in Indian cricket.”

“I am not sure why Hardik Pandya is selected for the T20 World Cup and that too as Vice-Captain. Rinku Singh the best finisher in recent times is missing, Rinku should have been in place of Hardik and Jasprit should have been the Vice-Captain #IndianCricketTeam #rinkusingh,” shared another fan.
