Rohit Sharma recalls tense moments during epic India-Pakistan match in Melbourne 

History was created on October 23, 2022, when India beat Arch-rivals Pakistan in one of the most thrilling matches at the jam-packed stadium of Melbourne Cricket Ground. In the match, Virat Kohli played one of his best knocks for India after the team was in early trouble while chasing 160 runs. 

The two sixes that he hit to Pakistan’s Haris Rauf still give cricket fans goosebumps whenever they recall that particular match. 

Speaking about the match, Rohit Sharma revealed that being a nervous guy, he couldn’t have the guts to watch the game live. 

''We were in trouble. I'm a very nervous guy so I was sitting inside the dressing room, couldn't watch it live, but Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya's partnership turned the game on. I came out in the final overs and enjoyed the match,'' Rohit told ICC. 

After losing 4 wickets for 31 runs, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya stitched a crucial partnership and helped the match swing in India’s favour. 

This ICC T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan will forever be remembered as one of the epic comebacks in the history of cricket. And the fact that it unfolded between the arch-rival nations India and Pakistan only adds to its significance.
