Team India is currently on a dream run in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. After the seven-wicket victory over Bangladesh on Thursday in Pune, they have now won four out of their four matches in the mega event so far. Apart from Bangladesh, the Men in Blue have defeated Australia, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

However, former Australia cricketer Ian Healy believes that the Indian cricket team needs to save their enthusiasm. Healy recently said during an interview that he had a ‘new fear’ for the Indian cricket team.

“If you see the energy that is going into their wins, my fear is that they are going to have an emotional letdown,” said Healy.

“They are putting a whole lot of energy into it. They might just be overdoing it. The intensity, the gestures in the field when someone bowls a bad ball, the over-enthusiasm of good fielding efforts, all that sort of stuff. But I just worry for that but yes they have got a great team,” he further said.

“I just worry in the next half a dozen games, to go where they are going, they need to go to another level. They won’t be playing against Bangladesh and then they need all their intensity later in the tournament. Don’t waste it now,” he added.
