Former India captain and star batsman Virat Kohli joined his Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) camp on Saturday ahead of their tournament opener on April 1.

Kohli took a break from cricket after the completion of the ODI series between India and Australia. Hence he joined the team camp a little late. Kohli recently attended Indian Sports Honours Award functions with his actress wife Anushka Sharma. But now the star batter is fully ready to give his best in the cash-rich league. Kohli is hopeful that RCB will win their elusive first title this time. He would be a key player for the RCB side as always.

Kohli has also got a new look during the small break. He has got a new haircut. He also posted the picture on Instagram a few days ago, calling his hairstyle Aalim Hakim a magician. Moreover, Kohli has several tattoos inked on his body, one of them of a Samurai. Fans across the globe are certainly excited to see their favourite player in a new avatar on the ground during the upcoming IPL season.

Notably, the last season of IPL didn’t go well for Kohli. He could manage only 341 runs in total of 16 matches en route to RCB’s way to the playoffs. Kohli would like to better his performance this year considering his recent good form against formidable Australia.
