Though speculations are rife that former India and current Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni will retire from Indian Premier League (IPL) after the current edition, the veteran wicket-keeper batsman has kept the fans guessing about his future with contradictory statements.

The Captain Cool’s knee injury may play a role in his decision-making process as he considers the future of his career. Moreover, with CSK performing well in IPL 2023, the legendary cricketer may want to end his career on a high.

When several fans across the globe are eagerly waiting about Dhoni’s retirement plan, his former Team India and CSK teammate Harbhajan Singh has made a significant statement about the Captain Cool.

The former off-spinner humbly requested Dhoni not to hurt the feelings of fans. Bhajji encouraged him to continue playing.

“MS Dhoni has stopped time. He still looks the same old Dhoni. He is hitting those big shots and taking those quick singles. Although he is not running at his full speed, he is hitting those sixes at ease. He still looks dangerous with the bat. Don’t hurt our feelings MSD. You should continue playing,” said Bhajji during an interview.
