Star batsman Virat Kohli and skipper Rohit Sharma were found engaging into a heated argument between overs of the first innings of the India vs New Zealand match in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 at Dharmashala on Sunday.

The video of the incident has reportedly gone viral over various social media platforms. In the video, Kohli is seen having an intense argument with Rohit during the 32nd over of the match.

In the all-important match, Kohli hit 95 to lead India to a four-wicket victory over New Zealand and a fifth win in five matches at the World Cup. However, the star batsman just missed equaling great Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 one-day international centuries.

Earlier, Skipper Rohit (46) and Shubman Gill (26) provided a strong start in a stand of 71. Rohit achieved a rare feat during the match. The Indian captain became the first Indian player, third overall, to hit 50 or more ODI sixes in a calendar year. Rohit achieved the feat after hitting New Zealand pacer Matt Henry for a six in the second over.
