The second game of the four-match Test series between India and Australia will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi from February 17 to 21.

As per reports, former India skipper Virat Kohli is not staying with the team triggering speculation that there is a rift between him and other players. However, the team management quashed all such rumours.

As per team sources, Kohli’s family members reside in Delhi and hence the star batsman decided to spend some quality time with his family for a few days at his house in Gurugram.

Meanwhile, Team India management also abruptly shifted the hotel for the players in Delhi due to the G20 Summit and the wedding season. It resulted in a dearth of large blocks of five-star hotel rooms.

As per sources, Team India players and support staff usually stay at Taj Palace or ITC Maurya in Delhi. However, they are staying in Hotel Leela in Karkarduma this time.

India are leading the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series 1-0 following a massive victory against Australia in the first Test at Nagpur. While the hosts will aim to extend their lead to 2-0 in the familiar home conditions, the Australians will try their best to bounce back and level the series 1-1.

There were a lot of discussions around the Nagpur pitch even before the start of the series with several former Australian cricketers and experts accusing that hosts India ‘doctored’ the pitch to make it a rank-turner to favour the home side. While India scored 400 runs in their first innings, Australia faced innings defeat.
