Team India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has impressed all and sundry with both his batting and bowling prowess in the ongoing first Test against England at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.

Jadeja picked three wickets in the first innings to help India bowl out England on 246. Moreover, he also batted brilliantly to score an unbeaten 81. Riding on his half century, India are leading by 175 runs in the match with three wickets still remaining.

Meanwhile, former England skipper Michael Vaughan hailed Jadeja for his brilliant all-round show against England. Jadeja is currently the No.1 all-rounder in Test cricket as per the ICC rankings.

“He has to be the best all-rounder in the world at the moment @imjadeja ..,” tweeted Vaughan.

Notably, Jadeja has been in red-hot form and has played some of his best cricket in recent times for India across formats. 

Moreover, Jadeja alongside veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, has formed the most successful bowling pair for India in Test cricket as the duo has taken 505 wickets together so far.

Jadeja has garnered a total of 2,877 runs in Test cricket in just 100 innings at an average of 36.88 including 20 half-centuries and three centuries. In addition to it, he has taken 278 wickets at an impressive average of 24.13.
